The Macsys PAS-NMPI3208 is a 1U rack-mount IP alarm interface unit designed for centralized fire and security alarm management over Ethernet networks. It features 32 alarm input channels (switch/voltage selectable) and 8 short circuit alarm outputs for flexible linkage across systems and zones. Powered by an industrial-grade dual-core ARM + DSP architecture, the unit delivers rapid startup in under 3 seconds and supports automatic forwarding of alarm information to a server for coordinated task execution. Alarm sound files are stored on the server to trigger alerts, while Ethernet with cross-network routing ensures wide deployment flexibility.
