Overview
Macsys ACS-WLAP5G is a dedicated 5G WiFi Wireless access point designed for wireless conference systems, providing stable dual‑band 5 GHz communication between the controller and conference units within the same room. It supports typical coverage up to 30 m and connects up to 50 conference units per access point for scalable deployments. The unit offers robust security with WPA2‑PSK AES, SSID hiding, and MAC address filtering, and features 128‑bit AES digital encryption to prevent unauthorized access. Flexible installation options include ceiling, wall, or stand rack mount, with PoE (802.3at) and 12 V DC power choices to simplify cabling. The device includes LED indicators for power, network audio, and wireless status, and provides a web interface for channel, SSID, and password configuration with default access at 192.168.2.1. Integration is via Gigabit WAN/PoE and LAN ports, supporting DHCP or manual IP addressing and cable runs up to 100 m on Cat5e or better.
